LIPIFLOW

LipiFlow is an advanced treatment for dry eye caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). MGD occurs when the oil-producing glands in your eyelids are blocked or partially blocked which prevents your tears from properly lubricating. Common symptoms include burning, itching, and discomfort. LipiFlow works by applying a combination of gentle heat and pressure to the eyelids, effectively massaging to help clear the blocked glands. This restores healthy oil production, improving the quality of your tears which can provide relief from dry eye symptoms.”
