EXCITING NEWS! Our Seaboard Station Location Has Moved. Don’t worry our new office is only a few steps away in the new Seaboard Station development located at 712 Seaboard Station Drive, Raleigh, NC 27604

In 2017 Dr. Palo noticed a demand for comprehensive eye care in downtown Raleigh. While walking through Seaboard Station, he saw a space for lease. After living in and falling in love with the area, he brought the idea of expanding downtown to his partner, Dr. Poirier. In October 2017, they opened their second clinic at 712 Seaboard Station Drive, where they provide a convenient location for an eye care practice to offer exceptional clinical care and a curated selection of eyewear products. At this time, the partners decided that they also needed a name change that would reflect the expanded reach of their original Knightdale clinic.

Thus was born The Eye Institute, with the second location in their growing eye care business at Seaboard Station. Dr. Palo began spending most of his clinical time at Seaboard and is now there full-time as the clinic has grown, and the locals soon learned of this location and his devotion to patient care. Let’s just say that as downtown Raleigh continues to evolve, The Eye Institute at Seaboard Station is right there with their local community!

The Eye Institute is a fantastic small business. I've been going to the Seaboard location for years based on the wonderful service of the doctors and the customer side folks. Highly recommend, even if it's a bit of a drive.

This was my first time at the Eye Institute and Dr Palo was fantastic. Took the time to explain his exam findings and gave me multiple opportunities to ask questions. The optician that worked with me was friendly and informative as well. Thank you!

Great experience - Dr. Palo was very nice and not rushed. Front office and optical shop staff wonderful. Nice modern, well-run office. I have been looking for the right eye care/glasses/contact lens provider and definitely have found it.

I was in town from Texas and made the terrible mistake of sleeping in my contacts, which caused a HORRIBLY painful ulcer on one of my eyes. Dr Palo agreed to see me in his office even though I was not an established patient. I was so grateful to his professional, compassionate and expert eye exam and treatment. I truly don’t know what I would have done without his care. His office staff was also very compassionate. I highly recommend this eye clinic.

The best experience ever at an eye office! Sam is phenomenal and deserves to headline a one woman show. It was my husband’s first time needing glasses and they made the experience so fun and easy. I will definitely be back later this week for myself and my son. So glad we chose this office. The doctor was also phenomenally amazing, along with the new age (VR) equipment they use. I won’t be going anywhere else ever again! They are all like family now and I am proud to be a patient there.
