The knowledgeable staff at The Eye Institute is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.
Many current vision plans are designed to cover most of the necessary vision-related costs, but not all costs associated with eye care. Most plans often require a co-payment for an office appointment as well as additional expenses that are covered by the insured patient.
If you do not have vision insurance, your medical insurance may provide some coverage for eye exams or eye health exams. We can help you determine whether this is an option. Ask our front desk team about coordinating with your medical insurance provider.

I left feeling as if I was valued, and that my money was being well spent on something I wanted to spend it on — not something I felt pressured into thinking I needed. The eye exam was by far one of the most involved and well explained I have ever experienced. I was pleasantly surprised the that the Dr. was present the whole time, my questions were answered with thought and not once did I get the standard, "I would not be too concerned " response. It was always a clear interest to make sure I was understanding the technical as well as the results of his answer.
After many many years here...I am still happy to have my annual exam, glasses, contact lenses, and other services for my family here. LOVE this place and the atmosphere with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I highly recommend!

If you’d prefer to remain at home, we are offering telehealth appointments via a HIPAA-compliant platform. Telehealth is only available for some types of appointments. We will use your medical insurance for this visit and bill it as a “specialist office visit.” No insurance? No problem. We have standard rates for telehealth appointments for you. Call your preferred location to set up a telehealth appointment.
